The Front Range Futsal League brings to Colorado a venue for the development of skillful soccer players through the game of Futsal. S uperior to walled soccer in terms of developing better skills and technique, Futsal is the game that outdoor soccer players around the globe play in their off-seasons to refine and maintain their control skills and touch. Both “Leagues” and “Tournaments” will be offered in the League's inaugural year.
All games will be played on artificial surface fields at the Golden Goal Sports Complex in Golden. The use of an all-weather field outdoors makes the League a great value, at less than half the cost of walled soccer.
Futsal is a player’s game, and the Front Range Futsal League is designed to “Just Let the Kids Play”. The League’s mission, to be a place for players to develop their skills, makes it a perfect candidate for a partnership with the “Positive Coaching Alliance”. PCA promotes “fierce but friendly” competition, where winning is also defined in terms of making maximum effort, continuing to learn and improve, and never letting mistakes - or the fear of mistakes - be an impediment to playing the game.
